ESPN Metaverse

ESPN's Fifty/50 initiative commemorates the 50th anniversary of the passing of Title IX, the federal civil rights law that prohibits sex-based discrimination in any educational institution that receives federal funding. To support this inspiring campaign, we brought ESPN's vision into the metaverse with Fifty/50 World in partnership with Disney, ESPN, and created a stadium where visitors could watch programming featuring sports legends and media personalities including, Julie Foudy’s Laughter Permitted Podcast, Fifty50 x Special Olympics discussion featuring Loretta Claiborne and Novie Craven, and the story of the 1996 US Women’s Basketball team, Dream On.
